As a member of the USGBC, ILVA is focused and guided by sustainable development of its products.
Our idea of sustainable development is to satisfy the needs of present human generations without compromising future possibilities by preserving the environment so that these needs can be satisfied not only in the present, but also in future generations.
Certifications
ILVA products are controlled and produced according to ISO international standards, European UNI and EN, and Americans ASTM. ILVA’s technical characteristics meet every requirement established by each of these standard Organizations.
Technical specifications which follow International standards are required by manufacturers, distributors, architects, engineers, installers and consumers around the world.
In 1998, ILVA implemented a Quality Management System certified ISO 9001, that is periodically monitored by Bureau Veritas which ensures its strong commitment to product quality and customer satisfaction.
Certifications
Reaffirming our commitment to protect the environment and our leadership in innovation and market trends we have certified our product lines with internationally recognized certifying agencies. Our ECOLAND series is certified by Bureau Veritas for at least 24% recycled material and our MARMI series is certified by SCS Global Services for minimum 21% recycled mineral content.
Certifications
Reaffirming our commitment to protect the environment and our leadership in innovation and market trends, we have certified our series ECOLAND, MARMI and BUENOS AIRES MOOD with Scientific Certification System (SCS) as a product of low volatile organic compound emissions. Additionally, the MARMI series is certified for containing a minimum of 20% pre-consumer recycled content.
Both certificates may contribute in the obtention of LEED points* in the process of green building certification under the standards of the USGBC (U.S. Green Building Council), organization of which ILVA is member since 2008.
ILVA is the first company in the world, with the exception of U.S. companies, to certify with SCS the content of recycled material and to obtain FloorScore label.
