At Sanatorio Allende, a sanatorium at the Argentine province of Córdoba, its being used the ventilated fachades system with our Ecoland series certified by Bureau Veritas, an internationally recognized certifying agency, the content of at least 24% of recycled material. Furthermore, Ecoland has obtained the FloorScore certificate issued by Scientific Certification System (SCS) as a product of low volatile organic compound emissions. ILVA is the first company in the world, with the exception of U.S. companies, to obtain with SCS the FloorScore label.
The use of rainscreen as an innovative construction system has gainen a good support among architects and contractors, due to its high quality standards, esthetic possibilities and specilly the thermic isolation.
The ventilated facade system consists of the backing wall, the isolation material, the air chamber and the exterior wall (porcelain tiles in this case). The channel created by this space causes the "chimney effect" which activates a natural airflow.
